Are you looking for a peaceful experience?  Look no further!  Our Llamas and alpacas will help you unwind as you hike around our farm and up Short Hill Mountain.  You will be able to take in the majestic views of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range.  Pack a snack, a water bottle, and bug spray.  Did you know that llamas are referred to as the South American mule?  They can carry up to 25% of their body weight.  Their athleticism and soft padded two-toed feet can traverse the most difficult terrain without impacting muddy trails susceptible to erosion.  You will have fun with our nature obstacle course as you step over the fallen trees as your talented hiking companion will also step or jump over.  As you duck under the branches, your hiking companion will do the same.  Or, you can stay on the trail for a leisurely hike. 

We will start the experience off with you meeting your camelid hiking companion.  We will teach you how to hold and walk your llama or alpaca.  If you have items you need carried, we will fit your hiking companion with a pack.  

Length of Experience:  1 - 1 1/2 hours

Do: Dress accordingly for the weather,

Bring: Bug repellent, sunscreen, hat, closed toe shoes (preferrably hiking or farm boots)

Optional: You may bring a picnic (snacks, drinks, blanket)

What we can provide:  Bottled water for purchase or fill your container free from our filtered hydrant.

Age of participants:  12 years and older.  Participants 15 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost:  $175 includes 2 llama and up to 4 guests.. Additional llamas are $50 each, additional guests are $15 ea.
